In the midst of natural disasters, wedding preparation, proposal writing, work drama, digital distractions, and trying to decide what to do with my life, time has run off and down a rabbit hole. I’m still trying to figure out where it went and why it manifested as a white, stately rabbit.
It’s September 8th, already! Two days from now marks the one year anniversary of my elbow injury. My goal is not to dwell on the memory, but look forward to what will be a whirlwind of activity in the coming weeks/months.
I’m still planning to do NaNoWriMo, although my original idea has shifted somewhat. I can’t get a satirical sci-fi theme out of my head, so I’m going to run with it. I have to get some kind of outline down soon, otherwise I’m going to be pantsing my pants off (huh?), which never seems to work out very well. This entire process is new to me, so who knows what self-prescribed methods will or won’t work; only time, and my tenuous grasp on it, will tell.
I plan on updating this site with my status, because I’m sure after pooping out ~1700 words each day, the first thing I’ll want to do is write some more! Stay tuned, anyone who actually reads any of this, for wheels are in motion, and down a rabbit hole, I’m about to go.
Good luck to you! Pants away! I love the title of this post, by the way.
